Directory Submission Questions
This is my Directory Submission Questions page. When ever I get a question from a client that I think would be a help to a prospective client I post the question and answer here.
- Q: Are the directory links permanent?
A: All links will stay up for the life of the Website they are placed on unless there is a crash of the database and the Website owner doesn't have a back up of the database. - Q: What is the Pagerank of the pages the links are on?
A: Most SEO experts hold that Pagerank has little or no ranking weight. All PR really gives you is a rough idea of how many inbound links a Website has and how many inbound links the pages have that a sites inbound links are from. Most SEO experts no longer rate the value of a link by its PR value. Also Google discourages the selling of links based on the PR value of the page they are on. Most Web directory links are on pages that have low PR and the pages our packages links are from are no different that most directories. - Q: Can I order multiple packages for the same Website?
A: No I will only submit your Website to the Directories in any package once. - Q: What link packages are in the Super Link Package (SLP)?
A: #3, #4, #9, and #12 on the Web Directory Submissions Packages page. - Q: What is a link package? -- A: We offer groups of directory submissions together and we call them packages.
- Q: After payment when will the links be up? -- From your approval of any changes we make in your Website information provided to us, it takes up to 20 working days before all the links are submitted. If we are really busy it can take up to 30 working days.
- Q: Do you offer refunds on directorys that turn down submitted sites. -- A: We offer refunds on labour changes and submission fees on all directories. For the free directory submission or our DMOZ submissions we don't offer refunds.
