Hub
Hub
A Hub is a site that links to an authority site. What determines a HUB is that the link is to a well established (authority) site and the link is within their topic. Relevance is critical when developing an authority site. An authority site is one that is well written, has more content and more pages than other sites and, therefore, ranks in the top positions on the search engines.
Why Hub?
Hub is used by webmasters trying to achieve top ranking positions. If you want your site to achieve top hub and authority placement then you must link (HUB) to authority sites. Attention to page and site wide themes, on page and off page content and topic relevance is critical to your success. Search Engines now have the capability of determining theme relevance as never before and it has become much more important.
