Hyperlink
Hyperlink
A hyperlink is the navigation of a document from one section to another, one page to another page or to a completely different domain. In other words, you click on a particular word or phrase and it automatically takes you to a different area. In fact, a hyperlink is what gives you the ability to navigate the web because it gives you a source anchor and goes to a destination anchor.
Why Do You Hyperlink
Hyperlinks were necessary in the creation of the web. Adding hyperlinks to your site will offer your users a higher degree of functionality by allowing them to navigate through numerous pages. Many times your hyperlink is displayed in a different color, style or font increasing recognition of a particular area i.e., product pages, specific areas of information, payment page, etc. In addition to increasing customer friendly website pages, spiders use hyperlinks to crawl from one page to the next in order to index your pages.
